Hey i got a 91 xj i tore the steering column apart today to tighten those damn torx heads down and dont know how to get the turn signals working again if anyone could post a very detailed explanation or a pic it would be greatlyt appreciated thanks
:banghead:

depends on what you mean by get them working again?? if the don't turn off after you turn then it's a simple swap of a plastic piece, if they don't work at all you have to unplug the connector half way down the column and pull the whole assembly out, take it to the parts store, and buy a new one.

the switch itself is bad then. wheel comes off, lockplate comes off, bolts come out of the switch assembly, and it gets unplugged from the lower part of the steering column and the whole thing pulls up and out of the column. it should be obvious how to get it out of there.
