Security Alarm Problems

1997 Cherokee with Factory fitted Alarm /keyless entry system.
Most of the time the alarm works fine activates correctly and locks/unlocks the Jeep correctly.
But!! on several occasions when de activating the alarm to get into the Jeep the vehicle horn would sound continuously (not the alarm sounder)!!
If I close the door or reset the alarm the Horn silences. This has happened several times all ways at the most inoportune moments , The only way I have been able to correct it is to remove the wire from the Horns for a while and reconnect, this has worked but is no way a permenant fix.
ANY IDEAS ??

Disable the security system. You would remove the SKIM security module and replace the ECU (engine computer) with a used non-SKIM ECU.

Search the Forum or Google the SKIM has a tendency to fail.
