I was looking for some info on the upper control arm bushings on the axle side. I've got a 98 with a 4.5 rc lift and need to replace them. Is there a specific brand that is better then others. Also are they pressed in and can I get them out and in with a hammer and a big c-clamp?
Thanks

I have used the napa bushings with sucess. Hammer and chisel will get them out, but air chisel is much faster. Lube the new ones liberally with anti-sieze

I'm probably going to get the ironman4x4fab CA bushings. Something to think about.

a ball joint press (c-clamp style) works great to get them out in a hurry. I got one a while back and has served me well. You can rent them from most auto parts store if you do not want to buy one.
