Seat compatibility?

My front seat had been squeaking for a while and i had meant to look into it but apparently it gave up and that sheet of metal that it bolts to on the seat itself broke off and it now rocks forward when braking.

I have a 2000xj with manual seats and was wondering what years would be a direct swap for me.

ZJ and WJ will bolt-on to stock brackets.

But if your brackets are no good, '95 and up brackets and seats will work. My son has '95 ZJ LTD leather buckets in his '96 Classic, and we had to use the Classic's slider brackets. They bolt on perfect.

ZJ seats DO sit 1 inch higher, that doesnt sound like much, but its A LOT.

I didn't know this. Sounds like a plus to me. I was thinking about adding seat risers to my xj.
