1/4 inch if u are steady and at max amps. No tank unless u pay extra. I would just have to go buy another tank so it doesn't make since to me. You are more than welcome to come test things out if you wish.

Pretty nice welder. I was welding 1/4 inch all day with it. Duty cycle is not bad either.
