Help? Transfer case question:

Hey, I have a 1990 xj 4.0 aw4 with the factory tcase(2wd, n, 4h, 4L) and factory d35 with 3.55 gears... This should be the np231 correct?

I snapped the drive shaft and I am looking for a new one. I found someone with an 1988 4.0 aw4 and he thinks he has an np242.

Will these driveshafts match up? Leaving to meet him soon so some quick advice would be great.

Should bolt in, if anything, swap current yoke to the new d-shaft.
