i have a Wj that im currently doin the ring and pinion on it .its a rear dana 44 A aluminum diff. i have a set of nitro gears 4:11 and the ring gear bolts are smaller then the case holes. .. i know i dont want to put lil bolts into the case to fit the ring gear .. what are my options .?? diff ring gear??ive done a simular dana 44a but it was with the ARB locks and the locker had small holes and the ring had big so i just opened then locker up .. but this one boggles me .. ? i need to get this done by weds for a show on weds.. will a reg dana 44 ring gear work ?

This is an XJ forum, nobody here uses that D44a junk.
Scrap the housing and build up a real Dana44. Regearing a D44a is as bad as regearing a Dana35.

It uses the same gear set as the Rubi's,get the correct set.At least 1 manufacter is making "dual" pattern gears for the 44.
