olympic racks?

I've seen this Olympic mountianeer rack on quadratech. It cost too much $ and is not exactly what i'm looking for.
Has anyone built there own storage rack for their XJ's like this olympic?, if so do you have pics?
Next ?, has any one built there own roof racks?, if so pics?

Expo includes all types of vehicles as well as XJ's. But that allows you to think outside the box, instead of just doing what everyone else is doing. You'll get a lot of great ideas over there.

There was a posting somewhere where a guy modified an aluminum hitch rack from Harbor Freight to fight in the back of his XJ. It turned out awesome and cost him just around 50 bux.

But for the life of me I can't find the build thread. I don't remember if it was even here at Naxja or somewhere else. I should have bookmarked it.

BTW, are you a chef in N.O.? Where? We loved Fiorella's....
