is this a exhaust leak???

so i just recently noticed a weird kind of tick/ping noise coming from what seems to me the upper right of the motor could this be a exhaust leak also i just installed this motor about 4 weeks ago and it only has about 45000 k on it

Always describe things from the driver's perspective--exhaust would be on the left.

Either way, grab yourself 3 feet of vinyl tubing, 1/2" or less I.D., stick one end in an ear and move the other end around--it will lead you to the source of the sound.
