Stock Shock?

Factory height 1990 xj limited. What is a good all around shock?
Asphalt driving, very limited off road, daily driver.

I believe that stock XJ's came with Monroe Sensatrac (or very similar). I have the factory tow package and my XJ had air shocks on it in the rear when I got it that looked VERY stock. Even the guy at the parts place brought up air shocks when I first went to buy new shocks, I opted out of air shocks.

I don't do much wheeling either (weekend warrior) but I am lifted 3" or so. I replaced the shocks that were on it after I lifted with Monroe Ultras, cheap and effective, and a step up from the Sensatracs.

I recently swapped out my Rancho 5000s for Sensatracs. Think I liked my Ranchos better. But I'm at stock lift, 2wd, it's just my DD, and I got as good deal on them.

i had good luck with sensa-tracs
