timing chain replacement

hi all

so at 450,000km i decided to do the rear main seal 4.0l and while there do the timing chain harmonic balancer and seal. all went well

but____ i forgot to put the oil slinger back, dam.

that's the disc between the lower timing gear on the crankshaft and the balance seal.

im not pulling in apart again so what do the experts think, have i stuffed up???

i had a look on YT and it seems some have it others don't

oh its 1994 XJ Limited 450,000km

mostly street driven, very little off road and none now
