hub issue, newbie here

I've got a 99 2wd cherokee sport. i replaced both front hubs about a year ago, maybe less. at the time, only the driver side was actually bad, but i went ahead and replaced them both. now that same side is making similar noise as when it was first bad. sounds as if the rotor or pads are grinding. a little help please

if it sounds like the rotor and pads are grinding, check your brakes.

Have you checked for play in the bearing? Have you visably confirmed the brakes are ok? What hub bearings did you buy? Warrenty?

When you replaced them did you torque the axle nut to 175 Foot pounds? If you tightem it like tapered wheel bearings then the unit bearing quickly takes a $h!t. I made that mistake when I was a cherokee newbie and trashed a unit bearing.
