can't decide: treadwright a/t or mt/r tread?

ordering new shoes for the mj from treadwright. going with 31's until my gearing/lift can handle 33's-hopefully by that time, i can spring for the new mt/r. i posted this here, since it's kind of terrain-specific. almost all my wheeling involves desert areas. i am not really into rocks or mudboggin'. don't see much snow, obviously. lots of sand and general "trail running". don't care at all about noise. the truck is a semi-DD. soooooo, the bfg a/t pattern, or the mt/r look-a-like?

I ran their other MT and was happy with them, but they were kinda loud.

I'd have no problem DDing on them though, and their MTR copies are supposed to be better

Do they use different compounds to mimic the tires they are masquerading as? MT/R's are much softer than BFG's.

i believe the rubber is the same, only difference is the pattern. i don't see any mention of that on the site. i'll have to ask when i call them.
