I found a 92 XJ on CL. The guy wanted $500 for it but its in need of alot.

1. Carpet shot
2. Hole in radiator
3. Pass front fender
4. Engine has a low end knock (I think)
5. Windshild
6. Rear seat
7. Did not run untill I disconnected the alarm (he thought I needed to tow it and he wanted more once running)

I did drive it home and the guy was not happy about all the issue's I found but he wanted it gone. He told me he has been driving it with the engine knock for 4 years. It still has power and I was hard driving it once I got close to my home with no issue.

I know I'm cheap but I do think this will be the next rig.

Now I need to do
1. remove carpet & rhino line
2. 3x6 rocker replacement
3. Frame stiffies
4. Flairs
5. Cage tied into it all.
6. Put my lift on it

And all of this before NWF. What do ya think?

He thought it was scrap. I offered him to scraop it. He signed the title and I drove it home

Parts of 4 or 5. 3 running. Not as much as in the past. Oh ya only 4 broken hatches

1 horse trailer

1 22' camp trailer
1 Chevy k1500

Jesus, that list looks really long now that it's all typed out! :)

Paul I would think with that many rig and trailers you may qualify as a dealer. Maybe a tax break or some thing

Dave, I think you should probably fix the engine knock before armoring it up...

It can only run into so many trees with an engine failure, haha.

Sounds like a pretty good deal though!

Well it looks like rhino lining this coming week. And I got all my cage stuff getting put together so I know what this thing is going to look like. Bad ass

I hate photobuket. Pics will be on PNW soon and I'll post a link. But I'll let you know its RED so you may like it
