fan ? 99 xj

I'm fan on my 99 cherokee is bad. At low (up to 2500) rpms it has a wobble which causes the motor to shake. As the car was off I grabbed the fan and can get close to a 1\4 in play back and forth. Thid fan is not a clutch fan though it just bolts to the face of the pulley. Some how this hit the rad and caused a leak. So my ? Is can I unbolt the fan and shaft from the pulley and run a pair of electric fans and if so has anyone done this how big should the fans be I have a setup from my last race car would they be enough

Sounds like you need to replace the fan clutch and radiator.
