front end noise

I test drove a 99 cherokee. Thinking about buying, but front end was making loud vibrating noise and hard to turn left - any ideas? Power windows only work from driver side- any known problems with electric system in cherokees? Help before purchase

Sounds like the DS unit bearing or axle u-joint could be toasted. Can't help with the power windows, but if they work on the DS switch there can't be too much wrong--PS switch or wiring.
