Not sure as where to go. I haven't run evans in so long but elbe sounds good to. The busy is the only real trail there but when its dry its easy. Any one been to evans lately? Any one up for it?

I've been wanting to check out evans. Never been there. I might be in.

Don't play the might game. I have some doors for ya.

Re: Evan's or Elby on the 18th

Whats wrong with your junk?

IF I dont go you can borrow it if you want.

But I got that day clear so Im in.

2 fragged rear axle bearings, I'm working on putting your gas tank in, and a lot of missing tube / sheetmetal...

I might have it done in time. I have a trip to shasta the weekend after, and a trip to Cal Rocs the weekend after that, so wheeling fund is already empty...

Did we pick the place yet?

directions to get there? (I've never been to either of these locations)

time?

Re: Evan's or Elby on the 18th

Evan's at 9:30 in the first parking lot. I would google it. Never came from that way before.

Re: Evan's or Elby on the 18th

Mapquest the town of Wilkeson.

From there follow the road until you go over a bridge.

Continue until you come to a fork in the road.

Keep going straight toward Mowich Lake.

Go past the first parking area, that has the wooded sign and such.

Evans will be about 7 miles up the road, you will make a left into the 'staging area'.

IF you're parking your rig, you'll need a NW Forest Pass. Either a year one or a day one.

You can get one at the Burnett Chevron(you'll pass it on the way up there).

Re: Evan's or Elby on the 18th

I'd love to join ya, but I grenaded my R&P. My sister's wedding is that day as well, but I'll use the busted front end excuse.

The Sunrise Trail is pretty damn tricky up at the top. At least it was the weekend of NWFest. Soooo much better than Naches!

Re: Evan's or Elby on the 18th

Its looking better that I could have my junk there...

Though Moser needs to get me my damn bearings!
