DESCRIPTION: Large frame Nagant revolver built by Simson & Co. in Suhl, and accordingly marked on the left side of the frame. This revolver was a part of Argentinian military contract fulfilled by Simson. The revolver has original finish and was not refurbished by the Argentinian arsenal. The revolver is very similar to large frame Belgian military M.1878-86 Nagant revolvers. Single and double action. Wooden grips with diamond checkering. German proofs are stamped on all the major parts of the revolver. Non-fluted, six round cylinder. Six inch long
octagonal barrel. Complete with lanyard ring. CONDITION: Fine+ (NRA Antique). 94% of original blue finish is still on the metal. Some finish is turning to brownish color. Some occasional peppering on the barrel. Original checkered grips are in very good condition with numerous handling marks and dings. All
matching serial numbers. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. The cylinder chambers are in fine condition. Strong action. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on metal. All the internal parts of the revolver are in fine condition, with no visible wear. Difficult to find South American contract large frame Nagant revolver in all original condition! Antique. DESCRIPTION: Early, seven shot, double action Belgian Nagant M.1895 revolver in very nice condition! The revolver is virtually identical to Russian Nagant M.1895 revolver. The revolver is marked on the left side of the frame with the maker address, "L. Nagant Brevete Liege 1899". House of Liege proof marks are stamped on major parts of the revolver. There are no military
acceptance/property markings stamped on the revolver. Gas-sealed cylinder. 4.5 inch long round barrel. Wooden grips with diamond checkering. Complete with lanyard ring. CONDITION: Low excellent. 94-95% of original crisp blue still on the metal. Some finish is turning to brownish color. Original checkered grips are in fine condition, without any cracks. All matching serial numbers. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. The cylinder chambers are also in excellent condition. Strong action. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on metal. All the internal parts of the revolver are in excellent condition, with no visible wear. This revolver is in all original condition, not a reblue, not an import. Belgian Nagant M.1895 revolver in very collectible condition. Serial# 19XX.

DESCRIPTION: Imperial Russian army contract S & W Russian Model third pattern revolver manufactured by Ludwig Loewe, Berlin, Germany. These revolvers had interesting history. In 1877, Ludwig Loewe & Company located in Berlin, Germany received an order for 70.000 of such revolver from the Imperial
Russian army. The contract was placed on the emergency basis, as Russia had just entered the war with Turkey. Smith & Wesson was not willing to supply more guns quickly enough, hence Loewe was chosen as manufacturer. The barrel rib

displays the Russian language maker address, "Ludwig Loewe i Ko., Berlin, Germania". The revolver displays also an Imperial Russian government property mark stamped on the back of the barrel rib, "Crown over Double Headed Eagle" (fading). The left side of the frame displays a model designation in Russian
language, "Obr. 1874" (Model 1874). Matching serial numbers (the matching numbers are stamped on the cylinder and barrel only; there are no serial numbers stamped on all other parts of the revolver). The serial numbers are original and they were not restamped. Single action. Six-chamber cylinder. Barrel length: 6.5 inch. CONDITION: The revolver is fine to excellent condition (refurbished). The metal was completely refinished. 98% of reblue is still on metal. The blue is worn mostly on the sharp edges of the frame, barrel and cylinder. Very good bore with
strong rifling. Excellent cylinder's chambers. Very tight action. The markings and numbers are still visible on metal. Hardwood grips are a replacement. They are in excellent condition with only minor handling marks. The lanyard ring assembly was removed from the butt of the revolver (please, see pictures). Some screws were replaced. The side plate screw was replaced with some kind of pin (please, see pictures). Scarce Russian Model S&W revolver by Ludwig Loewe! Antique. Serial# 160XX.

DESCRIPTION: Large frame double action English Beaumont - Adams percussion revolver. Many revolvers of this type were used by Confederate officers during the Civil War. The revolver was manufactured by Deane, Adams and Deane in England (which became London Armoury Company in 1856; this
company was the largest single producer of imported handguns for the Confederacy). Thousands of such revolvers were shipped from London through the Federal blockade to numerous Southern ports. The revolver is exceptionally well made and nicely finished with bright blue. The top of the cylinder bridge
displays following retailer's address, "Wilkinson & Son, 27, Pall Mall, London". Several English proofs are stamped on the frame, barrel and cylinder. Octagonal barrel. Five shot cylinder. Barrel length: 5.75 inch. Very nice one piece hardwood grip with diamond checkering. The revolver has all blue finish, except
for the hammer and trigger that have polished steel finish. Manufactured without the lanyard ring. CONDITION: Overall in excellent condition with about 88% of original bright blue finish on the metal. The blue finish is worn mostly on the sharp edges of the frame, barrel and cylinder. The finish is turning to brownish color patina on some parts (mainly on the butt and trigger guard). One piece grip with diamond checkering is in excellent condition with only minor handling marks. The action works fine. Excellent bore with strong rifling. The cylinder chambers are in excellent condition as well. High quality Beaumont Adams revolver that may have seen use by Confederate officers during the Civil War. Serial# 242XX. (Ref.: "The Revolver 1865-1888" by A.W.F. Taylerson, p.113, also in "Howdah to High Power" by Robert J. Maze, pp. 6-7 ).
