Wow, replacing my valve stem seals made a hell of a difference. Doesn't run any better or worse, but went from using a quart of oil every 300 miles and a blue haze following me everywhere to no noticeable oil use at all. 500 miles and hasn't dropped off the full mark! I think they had dry rotted or something, the motor had 180k but looked like it had been sitting on a pallet for years at a junk yard when I bought it.
