My girlfriend has a 2006 wrangler se 4pop 6spd that she loves to wheel. She is really starting to catch on and has been wheeling it on a 2" and 31's for about 4 months now. She hates the 4 banger and she even knows she wants 33's but doesnt want to put all the work into it and still run a 4pop d30,d35 combo so we went shopping yesterday. We looked at a couple 2003 x wranglers that were all on about 3 inches and 33's that were pretty decent but wayyyy overpriced for what your getting. We finally found a really nice 2004 X that was stock but the price was right and the sales guy asked us what she wanted to do to it, she responded 33's gears and some armor then the guy says well look at this 04 rubicon we just got in. Its black,18k,wilderness rack and carrier, warn m800?,about a 3inch rubicon express kit with stock LCA's,33" baja claws and clean as a whistle. He said its gonna go fast so we can take it for the day and see what we think. So after about 3 hours we went out to her dads farm and played around on some wooded area. 4.1 is the shit! Everything worked so well together on and off road. We went back and got the price too 19800 and trade in for her jeep is 13000. We didnt have much time to work the deal so we kept it overnight with about 90% of it plastered in mud. Im off to meet the salesman now to see if I can go 60 months on the 6k difference, If we can Looks like we will have a yuppy jeep sitting in our aparment complex.
