Push Bar/ Winch Mount Thoughts

I'm getting this
push bar winch mount for free. What would you suggest I do to strengthen the mounts? It looks like it only mounts with a hole on each side??? (pitiful) Not sure, but surely I can make a substantial mount with a little metal, a plasma cutter and some welding. The winch tray is what I was mainly after. I'll probably leave the push bar part for lights. Any thoughts on modifying the mounting points?

Thanks

Is that designed for a XJ or other truck?
I assume the uprights are the same width as the outside of the xj frame rails?
How far back does it mount on the frame rails?

I think if you made a plate for each side of the frame rail (include all steering box bolts while you are at it, and welded the uprights to it (lots of area) then it should work. Those uprights look a little puwney? what size is that material, you might want to add some lower cross members also to help with that strength.

Still much easier and cheaper than building a whole new bumper.
