I was unable to post this in the for sale forum and want somewhat local guys/gals to respond. So if the post needs to be moved to the correct forum, feel free.

Jeep Cherokee Stuff for Sale

I’ve decided to part out my 91 Jeep Cherokee. Wish I didn’t have to, but I don’t have the time to invest in it anymore and I am looking to move in the near future where having a second vehicle won’t work. Most of the parts I bought used with the exception of the y-link upgrade, axle components, track bar, steering box brace, and trailer hitch. Another reason I’m parting it out is that rust has begun to consume “frame rails” to the point where it will not pass inspection and will cost too much to repair. The major pieces, rear axle and y-link upgrade have hardly been used since installation…so they are in near perfect condition. Please read below for more information on each piece. At this point I do not want to ship parts, so it will either be local pick up or I can meet you half way for those traveling a long distance (within reason). Hopefully this will help me put money down on a newer JK. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

I am open to selling the whole jeep if someone want to take everything and swap stuff over as they feel like it….$2900 for the whole thing. Or you can try to get it to pass inspection, although I already removed the front and rear bumpers…and cut the rear one to pieces because it was being a pita. I doubt the front one will work anymore either, it has rusted through. Engine runs well, transmission tends to burn fluid off and slip, so you need to check the fluid constantly. I never had a problem with that I didn’t help create by modifying it, but I am not willing to pay for repairs to rust that won’t end. This is a good deal for someone looking to swap in parts to their current Cherokee.

Thanks for looking, I will consider those who want the whole jeep first…if that doesn’t work I’ll move to the people just looking for parts. At this point I have not removed everything since I'm waiting to see if someone would consider taking the entire XJ. By the early part of next week I'll start taking it apart.

Everything fit a 1991 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 2 door, 231 T-case..

Tow hooks and brackets - $50, I believe they are C-Rok…bought them used in good condition.

Kevin’s Offroad Adjustable track bar - $150 http://www.kevinsoffroad.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_41&products_id=776 In ok condition, probably needs some paint…but functions completely fine.

Steering box brace C-Rok - $100: http://www.c-rok.com/sb.html Used condition.

$1,200 total for the below set of axles

Dana 30 axle w/4.88 gears – $200: Same Dana 30 that started with the jeep, has some surface rust especially around knuckles and brake components. Only benefit of the axle is the 4.88 gears and maybe using the stock shafts as spares.

XJ Dana 44 w/4.88 gears, alloy shafts, Detroit locker, disc brakes - $1,100: Since upgrades axle has not seen much driving because of front suspension issues/upgrades. Probably less than 300 miles on these parts excluding axle itself. Ford 8.8 calipers and rotors (machined out to fit axle shaft hub)….used with ZJ proportioning valve. Axle was wire brushed and painted when I originally installed it. I’ll include ebrake cables and other brake parts along with proportioning valve.

TnT Customs Long Arm Upgrade - $850: http://www.tntcustoms.com/Jeep_Cherokee_XJ/Suspension_Upgrade.aspx
Just installed last year prior to inspection, slight modification to t-case skid because of exhaust (needed to cut and grid some of it away). In great condition, never used offroad so arms are in great condition. I will include hardware as well.

231 T-Case w/Sye- $200: I don’t recall a lot of details on this (spline..etc), it was installed as one of the first pieces on the jeep. I can get more info if needed.

Gas Tank Skid Plate, Rusty’s - $100 http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/mercha...Product_Code=RA-JS99-XJ&Category_Code=xj_skid Similar to other parts, surface rust is the main issue…no major dents. If you are willing to remove and repaint it’s in decent shape. Hardware not included.

T-Case Skid Plate, Rusty’s – $50, http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/mercha...Product_Code=RA-JS15-XJ&Category_Code=xj_skid for 231 T-case, rusty and no hardware included.

Engine/Tranny Skid Plate - $90 http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/mercha...Product_Code=RA-JS11-XJ&Category_Code=xj_skid
This actually is in decent condition, not as much rust but could definitely use a cleanup. No major dents or bends in it, pretty stout. I do have some of the hardware for this piece.

Class 3 Trailer Hitch - $100: Has one huge bend from dropping on a rock, but doesn’t have an effect on using hitch. Hardware will be included.

AJ’s Rock Rails - $150 http://www.ajsoffroadarmor.com/product.php?productid=17516&cat=250&page=1
Solid condition, very well built….I’ve drop on these quite a few times with no major damage to the jeep. Passenger side rail has large dent, but it’s on the outside tubing so it just caved in. I have some of the hardware for these.

Wheels/Tires - $575, Wheels are off a TJ (Rubicon) 16x8 with scratches/scuffs on them from previous owner. Tires are BFG All-Terrains 295/75/16 with 75%-80% tread left. I had the tires on my truck for one winter season then moved them to the jeep. I did not do much driving at all with the tires on the jeep and no off roading. So other than minor scuffs to them, there is nothing wrong with them.

Leaf Springs - $150: 3.5” Rubicon Express used springs, 1.5” shackles to go with.

Coil Springs - $100: Rubicon Express used coil springs, 2” coil spaces for an additional $25

Thanks for looking, post or pm if you are interested in something. Pick up near Reading, PA
