well i dont know most of you guys, so to start off im chris from ware ma, an im currently driving a once mint 99 xj classic. lets just say it is in need of some serious love. over the winter i bought a 87 sr5 truggy with a kingpin chevy 60 front, ff14bolt rear, locked f an r, disk's f an r, full exo/tube chassis, 4 link front, double triangluated (sp?) rear. the buggy in its current shape needs a drivetrain an air shocks an other odds an ends.

so to get these projects going i need a new dd, an if i was smart i would have got a honda or a yota of some sort, but nope i bought another jeep. new jeep is a almost mint 98 2 door, searched the past 2 years looking for a nice 1. i'll post up pics in the morning. but for now here is the build sheet i reacived from jeep

i know what most of this means but would any 1 have info on the options i put a astric next to?

here are the specs on the jeep

paid $1,000 for it, needs a head, lifted 3" on some new 32" bfg at's on some crager black rims, the jeep is the most basic model ive ever seen, man everything but mirrors, has the dumby dash (i can just swap the dumby dash for a reg instrument cluster?) smoked water pump an head, 170k miles

ill post pics up on here of the updates on it, an once i start building thw 99 up, after the truggy is done, ill start a thread on that, in advanced fab though

Yes the clusters are a direct swap. Remember to write your milage down when you swap them. Cause the new cluster will have the miles from what ever you pulled it from.

As for the extra 8gal of gas I think that's just them saying you have the 20 gal tank a second time.

Last week I took the metal tank out of my 95 2-door and put it in my 93 4-door. They were the exact same size. i dont know why they had the addition 8 gals. of gas marked on there.

pretty sure the 8 gallons is just how much they put in at the factory.

Some early models (think it was all RENIX era stuff) had a baffle in them that made for a 13 gallon tank iirc. Same outside size as a 20 gallon but different inside size. They did away with that eventually.
