The good;
This vehicle is garaged. It’s not a daily driver. Has only been trailered since 2005
It has only been used 3 times (04/05, 10/05, 05/08) in Moab, 1 time (11/07) in JV, and 1 time (09/08) out to the Rubicon since 2005
This XJ is damn near unstoppable. (damn near, not completely)(I got through Moab in 05/08 and the Rubicon 09/08 without any breakage)

The bad;
Passenger side RE 1461 leaf (brand new) is tweaked. I’m trying to get that warrantied. Sounds like it might not happen though. Rear diff got low on gear oil. May have affected the rear wheel bearings. I haven’t checked yet, but I sure they can go for being replaced.

The ugly;
It is!!!
(It’s a trail rig)

Here’s the skinny;
My family does not go wheeling with me. My girls are getting to the age that my wife is getting tired of me vacationing by myself. (whipped aren’t I?)
I’m also to the point that wrenching on it to get it ready for a trip just isn’t fun anymore.

My interest (Alaska) and priorities (family) have changed.

I’m looking to sell outright, or I’m also willing to trade for an unmolested daily driver XJ of equal value.

Knowing you couldn’t even begin to build a rig like this for this kind of money, I’ll hold firm on my $4500.00 asking price. For $1500.00 more I’ll include the 2005 trailer.

PM or call eight O one, three eight nine, four three nine eight

Thanks,
Dan.

Rear end wheel bearings are fine!!!!

Turned out the noise I was hearing and assumed it was bearings, was actually a crunched front Warn hub knob. Would fully unlock, but stayed turned just enough to give me a 'ticking' noise.

Changed the drivers side wheel bearing, hub knob, and had the rear driveshaft freshened up over at Tom Wood's.
