Just ordered some new bling for the heep

So I'm finally getting rid of the boggers and just ordered some 37x12.5 R15 Irok radials.

I read very good things about the Iroks and I can stick with a 15" rim.

They are like super glue on rocks. They used the tire tech from there MH drag tires to make the compound. My XJ is double duty that is why I have not ponied up for a set. I need to get more then 20k out of set of tires.

ya i agree with stang onthe double duty....but those are pretty rockken tires....(get it....rockin rockken...lol i crack myself up)

I started adding up the costs for the aluminum rims and it was getting way expensive. So I went for these. I just ordered BB's from these guys, going to put 11oz in each tire.

11oz in your 37" tires is not enough!! You will want more like 15oz per tire, especially those damn Interco things!! I am running 12oz per 35" tire!!

One thing you'll notice about using BB's for balance weights - somewhere between just starting going and say 15 mph you'll get a vibe from tire off-balance until the BB's spread out. Other than that, I've liked the results.

Same chart I used. I started with 10oz but found 12oz to be best for my tires. Rockken may want to add a little extra aswell because those Interco tires are real crappy to balance out!!
