Hay guys, is anyone interested in joining some of us that are planning on attending the Sidewinders of Havasu Run? So far, Thom Charon (tcharon), (mattyj) & (4xSanta) are going from So Cal NAXJA. It's 3/18 to 21, $65. Here's what's been said: I talked w/ the pres of their club. Sounds like they really want to put on a great event and want us as repeat business. Call the Pres if you have questions, tell him you're with my group. Ask about the operating 100 year old bar we visit on one run, top of a mountain, no paved road. Here is their web: www.sidewinders4wheelers.com
thanks for your interest in our run.X we have trails from 2+ to 5+
depending on the equipment on your jeep. crazy horse rv is probably the
closest or if you want dry camp, craggy wash.X we stay at havasu falls rv
resort, but it is usually full.X they may have sites for a few days.X more
info on our web site, www.sidewinders4wheelers.comX hope this helps, warren
Hi Guys,
X Got more info in case you're interested. That dry camping area is south of the staging area at the Aquatic Center 1.5 mi, just at the edge of townXon 95 at N 34degrees27.129', W 114degrees14.563' & is probably free. RV dump and water is at Circle K on 95 at Industrial Blvd, just north of town. Need to send res early ifXyou want to get ribs, chicken no problem. Pres says about 6 of their 15 trails are tough but perfect challenges for our rigs, 2 at max difficulty, so even Matt could scratch his itch.
X Thom
