Are you already on an FBI Domestic Terrorist List?

Check out the criteria that makes one a "person of suspicion".

Made bulk purchases of items to include:

Waterproof ammo or match containers -make great storage containers for camping and of course, ammo storage

Meal Ready to Eat - MRE's- great to have on the trail or for an emergency. I carry these in my vehicles and in our individual 72hr kit backpacks. Also great to feed a hungry herd of Boy Scouts after a long hike.

Night flashlights.....er, not much use for a day flashlight :confused1
I keep several of these around the house and in my vehicles

High capacity magazines - so I don't have to reload as often, which can give a person carpel tunnel syndrome

Tripod or Bipod for rifles- haven't seen the practicality of using one with a pistol, duh.

More great government wisdom listed here:

BTW, these are the same folks who ignored warnings that the Boston Marathon bombers where behaving like actual terrorists and planning an "event". Must have been too busy investigating bulk flashlight and MRE purchases by the BSA...........

If I wasn't on their list before, I probably am now.......everyone wave to the NSA :anon:

man this government is out of control!

crap... now im on the list lol

Paying with cash, and at places that do not have cameras.. Haha.

When I worked for the State Department we had a Musloon who didn't speak a word of any Language anybody else spoke, had pretty much all department access to the Embassy and would strip down naked every day about closing time right next to the secure documents vaults and take a shower using a garden hose. At closing time all the gals (the Embassy was around 90% female) would have to walk by this naked idiot doing his daily douche. During Ramadan he wouldn't eat or drink all day, but still took his late afternoon showers in front of the women. It took me almost three years to get him relocated to someplace else. Security didn't consider him a risk after, quote "a thorough background investigation". My point being, the government doesn't seem able to keep it's own house secure because they are to busy scrutinizing Joe citizen.

I've got no great expectations of the government protecting me from anything.

So I bought some 30 round mags from a gun shop and gave them cash. Wonder how they will keep track of that?

Did you use Google to get the address of the gun store before you left? There you go...they got ya. You're on the list. If not, they could track your license plate from the street cameras and reasonably assume that youre buying hi-cap clips. Bam....still on the list.

What is sad is that all of those Big Brother conspiracy theorists that everyone said were crazy, have all been vindicated. After Snowden blew the lid off their program, I dont doubt any of it.

*Large quantity purchases of ammo - quantify "large" ? Today's normal inventory of .22LR ammo is 1 50 rd box (or zero boxes) so if I happen to be lucky enough to discover a brick on the shelf and purchase it with cash, did I just make a "large quantity purchase"?

*Firearms or ammo purchased out of season - is there a season for target practice/sport shooting?

*Interested in learning offensive moves in a confined space - the guy at work who thinks that his chronic gas release stays confined to his cubical NEEDS to be labled a terrorist.......

Seriously, it you train in martial arts or tactical defense, you are now a suspect?

*Interested in learning the use of hidden weapons - CCW permit holders have to pass an FBI check, but does this also make them a potential domestic threat in the eyes of the government?

*Individuals who learn kill or restrain techniques with no occupational need - I need to be alive to perform my occupation, therefore, my tactical defense training for self-preservation is an occupational need.

So he was a terrorist because he washed himself?

During my year in OIF I didn't see that as a common indicator.

My first thought was he was living on a budget and tried to save water at home by using it at work. I built him a private shower in a basement room, he refused to use.

I eventually came to the conclusion he was a nutcase. A devout nutcase, who IMO, was ripe to be recruited by somebody. I eventually found him a job as a gardener instead of being janitor. I never did hear any stories about him displaying himself outside. Consular security always said they had bigger things to worry about.

During my time in Iran (late 60's) and Saudi (early 90's) I found the population, in general, to be conservative and not prone to nudity.

I live near Muslims, socialize with Muslims, work with Muslims and my youngest daughter has even dated a few.

This guy was devout and Richard Reed nuts.

I think the average citizen overestimates the competency of government. Government is what it is, it is rarely what people say it is and almost never what people say it should be.

Oh, how I hope I'm not average, 'cause if I'm OVER-estimating government competency,..

Well,.. man are we screwed.

What HE SAID!!!!

Yes, from my very first letter to the White House.

When I was on active duty with the CG there was a manual that listed many terrorists organizations. On eboring mid-watch I was fumbling through the ships library and came across this manual. A few of the domestic organizations some members of the crew were quite proud of belonging to. Green Peace, PETA and few other environmental groups. There were a few labor organizations listed also.

Just think, the greatest generation that saved the world came home and used that socialist program called the GI Bill, to get an education, or went to work & built the USA into a powerhouse through hard work were in terrorist organizations.
