Is anyone familiar with polymer clay and painting etc?
I recently started a few artsy projects and want to clear coat / glaze and not sure what to use. I used normal polymer clay and baked it then painted it using acrylic brush on paint and now want a nice glossy clear coat.
I've seen some people suggest a specific clay glaze and others suggest a normal clear polyurethane. Using the wrong type people warn will eat away at the clay or crack the paint instantly or 6 month later which makes testing pieces hard to do. From what I've been reading anything spray on is not worth the hassle so I figure stick with brush on, but just not sure what to use.
Any words of wisdom?
