Anyone know if there is a TC wire going to tranny from ecu on a 95 xj

Trying to setup a tc overide switch on my 95 xj 4.0 auto anybody do it or know if there is a wire to the tranny that i can splice into

Prolly, but why ? Do you want to use the converter to unlock for extra engine braking?

Yes. Actually, it's a separate trans computer that lives under the right side of the dash. Try searching on AW4 shifting and you should get some hits on folks manually switching the solenoids to hold in 1st gear and/or lock the t/c.

I did search the acrhives for aw4 tc, tc lockup, torqure converter but cannot find any articles.

My question is where are the wires so i can run a manual switch to make the jeep go into overdrive when i want.
