Check the CPS. My jeep had a similar problem and it turned out to be a easy fix. Just something to think about.

problem solved. i pulled the timing chain cover off to check the timing on it. well the cam bolt came loose. it must have jumped a link. set it and now its running fine. so glad its running now.

lol, ok thanks for everyones help. i applied for a lond to get another jeep, now i get to save the $4000. hmmm more upgrades
