To clarify, my high idle issues were 100% solved by readjusting the TPS. Don't know why a TPS would cause an exhaust/fuel smell...No longer any fumes in the engine bay, just when standing towards the center of the jeep.

As far as the gas/exhaust smell that's lower on my concern list than the backfire/misfire issues in the video. I can just go get a new TPS later today and swap that out - unless you're saying a TPS (which didn't cause this issue before) is causing this issue now?

Ok everything is connected properly - still not getting anything through the vents under the "Heat" setting. Defrost seems to work fine - still have not tried any AC settings. Vent seems to be the only thing pushing air through and really only through the center vent. Side vents are...

Was my first thought - this mystery connector's cable would be long enough for that but the light has a spade-type connector and doesn't fit up at all... The light is currently unplugged entirely and this mystery connector is the only thing that isn't connected anywhere in the engine bay...

The million dollar question is though - what the hell is this plug for? It appears to be coming out of the same part of the harness the blower motor connector comes out of but haven't been able to figure it out for the life of me...

Ahhh I see - so if I T'd off the source and ran two sources to the 6mm and just ran one 4mm out to HVAC and one 4mm to CC/TC that'd solve the issue then?

And if the case is that rezzy is too large or just toast in general, would replacing it with any rezzy work in theory? I have an extra one of these laying around from my BMW that's got 4mm nips that'll work just fine...

I figured that was the case. I can keep doing that and a few more cycles of cooldown/run. Still not 100% sure the vacuum is hooked up correctly - I am not, since I started at this again, getting anything at all from the "Heat" setting - defrost works, vent works...

Update: removed temp sender while cold, ran for a little bit to get air out - put back in and am trying to bleed that way now, on a downward slope. Seems to have gotten some air out - I guess just keep cooling down and repeat? Jeep is still running at ~240. Would doing the 92 thermostat mod...

I also keep seeing diagrams for like blower motor grounds and resistors, I appear to have none of that. Replaced the blower motor as well and how I got the Jeep, it just has a live/ground from the blower motor straight to the plug on the harness. It works but still feel like something may be...

So I've replaced the heater core and ac core, reinstalled the hvac box and while it was out tested vacuum on each of the lines - no leaks and all flaps work. I've got everything hooked up and am getting heat - still weak flow through the vents. I know it's not going to be like a brand new car...

welp here seems to be the issue. Take it replacing the heater core will solve my issues then since vacuum seems to be correct...

Sorry for the multiple posts - real annoying I can't edit posts. Hot coolant is now going to core. Am getting still very very weak air coming through vents but heat is now coming through vents for the first time. I have a new blower motor but not a new heater core but have yet to install...
