91 Laredo 4.0 Auto. 196,xxx miles. Pulled into a parking lot and heard part of the belt flapping around. the belt hopped a "groove" towards the engine (not fans) and was pinched on something really close to the crank shaft pulley and cut the belt. Got new belt put it on and it happened...

HI my distributor points seem to be "corroding" really quickly. Could it be from bad spark plugs or wires? My jeep would start then stall so i cleand the dirty distributor points and it ran. 2 days later it happened again and the distributor points were just as dirty and corroded as 2 days...

91 xj. Low beams stopped working. highs still work. Found the fuse blown-replaced it and it still doesnt work. Anyone know what it would be? thanks any hel;p would be great

Wrong line! Atleast on my jeep....the top tranny line has that plastic tab thing you guys are talking about but on the bottom line the connector is near the tranny? Im not supposed to pull it all am i? How do i get it off the rad and on to the new one???

thanks everyone but can i not take the hose off directly from the radiator?? (not leaving any hose connected to the rad.) I got a new rad and i need to connect the hose to it.....do i need a new hose end thing for the new rad? as you can tell i could use all the help and can get.....lol...

I have the same year xj and same problem. Only the ABS warning light went out like a month ago. It stayed on for like 6 months.... There is a factory recall on the pump motor and some other parts. I made an appointment to get it fixed, took it down there, and it has already been done...

I tried it with a razor.....it is hell. Soaked it with simple green over night....in the morning it practically fell off.

clean where the cables lead too and all the other things hhoked up to them clean clean clean.
