Got this all hooked up today on my 97. Followed the diagram in the original post exactly. Started the engine and flipped the switch, fan came right on. Turned my A/C on, no fan. AC clutch engaged and air was definitely working. No check engine light. Any ideas?

I did my Dana 30 and 8.25 myself in the garage. I had never done gears before. The Dana was more difficult due to the way it’s all set up with shims. Lots and lots of removing/re-installing bearings and races. The 8.25 is easier because of the adjustable collars to set up the carrier. You will...

Made some roll cage supports. They connect the roll cage to the "frame".

Thank you. No, the factory headliner will not fit anymore. I pushed the cage up into the factory sheet metal supports in some places. Someday I’ll build filler panels that I’ll cover with fabric and attach to the cage.

Made a little gas filler neck piece for a buddy's C10 project. 18GA cold rolled and some silicon bronze. Also worked on the cage in the family truckster. I'm almost ready to drop it down so I can weld the top and put in the rest of the tubes.

Back from the dead. Life has been busy, two bathroom remodels, family stuff etc. I got a new daily driver, 2003 1500HD, that got some fresh parts. Texas Speed cam, headers, tune, 5160 shocks, wheels tires and tons of new steering suspension parts. Feels good to be back into a full size again...
