A quick question, to take out the LH CC switch, is it just the screw on the back side of the steering wheel ?I can see with a mirror that it's torx---what size is the torx to remove it ? All my torx's are 1/4 and 3/8 drive and won't fit in the hole. Thanks.
I am trying to decide between currie and v8 grand cherokee.I am at 4 1/2 to 5 inches of lift with a front winch bumper and rear tire carrier bumper on 32 " mtrs. If I go the v8 grand system, what year do I go with ?
How much lift do i need to run 285/75r16 tires ? I have a RE 3 1/2 inch kit with 2 inch spacers in front and the longer lift shackles in the rear. I have a good deal available on some cooper sst's !!! I have 31/10.50r15 on right now with no rubbing.
thanks.
Hey all. I put in an aussie and now i have a clunk going from reverse to drive and drive to reverse(more than it had).I have a 1999 XJ with the Chyr 8.25 29 spline. I had to pull the carrier out (thick ring gear) and suspect that I did not get the side adjusters adjusted correctly. Does anyone...
I am in need of one 15" Ecco wheel for a 1999 Cherokee Classic. The tough part being is that its the darker one - not the silver sparkle. Any one have a single they would sell ?
THIS STYLE - NOT THIS COLOR.
Thanks for looking
OK - this is it. I have one of these straps and it don't stretch much ------------ if at all. Anyone else have one that can share an opinion.

Could it be because I amhooking uo to Jeeps and not a 30,000 lb truck ?
Is an 18,000 lbs rated snatch block enough for my Cherokee ? I have a Warn M8000 - If I understand correctly, I should only "need" a snatch block with a 16,000 lbs rating. Is that right ?
What do you all think of these skids.

Has any one beefed up a stock gas tank skid ? I am looking to make a stock one stronger. Would just reinforcing the lowest part with 1/8" over the bottom surface be enough, or should the sides be beefed up too ? I am talking about welding plates to the original stock skid. What do you all think...
On a 2000 XJ - the ac works normal / nice and cold / but only for 15-20 minutes, then blows warm until it is shut off for 5 or so minutes. Then ac blows as cold as before. Any ideas ?
Thanks
I am looking for 4 wheels to fit on a 1999 Grand Cherokee / steel or aluminum / don't have to be perfect but kinda nice. If they have stock tires, thay would be ok too.
Milwaukee area preferred.

It is that time in the XJ's life to get that old carpet out. I plan on getting Line-X or something simalar. How do the do it yourself kit hold up? Let's get a list of cons all in one thread. :us:
I have searched and I know most people use 4" back space on 15 X 8 wheels. Does any one use the 15 x 8 with 4 3/4" back space. I would think being closer to stock back space and by being an 8" wheel that it would stick out less and not be into the flares. Is this true ?
Kinda trolling for pics...
I just pulled the center bezel and the lower panel with the wiper and defog
switch in it, to cut it up to install a switch for fog lights. What I found is some wiring plugged into the plastic panel. I would think this is set up for fogs if my jeep was ordered with fog lights. Is this so ? Wire...
