You might not even need shims, I run a SYE with bolt in shackle relocators and RE boomerangs with OME springs (dont remember the height), no shims. The relocators and shackles kicked the pinion angle up, I don't have any driveline issues.
In my 93 the radio didn't pick up hardly anything, I did some digging and ended up finding out there is an antennae connection thing behind the passenger side "kick" panel down by the floor, take that off and the connector is a pin style thing that goes into another cable and has a spring for...
I've heard of people running stock steering with WJ knuckles just don't use the draglink knuckle arm and run it all under the tie rod arm if that makes since.
Check out the eastwood 135 mig/flux core welder. I have it and it does pretty well especially on 1/8"-1/4" thick material, not so great on the thin stuff, but for the price overall i am very pleased.
