200,000 mile brake system refresh. Thoughts?

I have a 1988 XJ with the stock, vac-disconnect D30 in front and a 29spline 8.25 out of a 2001 XJ in the rear. The 8.25 blew a wheel cylinder running a trail last week, and since I'm at 199,950 miles (~115,000 on the 8.25) I think it's time for a long-neglected brake system refresh. The brakes...

Set of "Neon" Bosch 703 injectors

Hey all, I have a set of six Bosch 280-155-703 injectors. Pulled them from a pick-n-pull, rebuilt them with all-new Viton orings/filter baskets/pintle caps, and bench tested 'em to make sure none of the ports were clogged. I also checked resistance with a multimeter, and they all were in spec...

I'd love to borrow a Snap-On 2500 "brick" scanner in the LA area

Hi folks, I'm in the process of trying to debug my 1988 renix XJ and figure out why it's running so damned rich/failing smog. I've tried just about everything so I'm at my wits end. Do any of you guys in the Los Angeles/San Bernardino area have a Snapon MT2500 scanner, and would be willing to...

Rebuilt & tuned up RENIX running very rich - help me save it from the SMOG demons

I was hoping to solve this issue on my own using the huge amount of data from similar threads, but after reading them all twice and doing the steps I am still not getting anywhere. So, here I am, another poor bastard with a RENIX running rich (in California, of course :shiver: ) A little over a...

Looking for 32 tooth long-shaft speedometer gear

Put 31's on my 1988 with 3.55s and would like to fix the speedo. According to http://www.quadratec.com/jeep_knowledgebase/article-46.htm I need a 32 tooth long-shaft gear. Maybe someone out there has one laying around they want to get rid of for beer money? :p $40 for a new one seems steep.
