    Axle side track bar mount

Not the mount, the sleeve for the new bushing. Factory mount holes are good.

    Axle side track bar mount

I am almost done giving my xj a completely new suspension. I have the OME medium duty 2.25" lift installed. I just pressed out the old axle side track bar bushing in favour of a new two piece poly bushing. I noticed that the sleeve on the new bushing has a bit of slop in it. I am going to...

    OME CS033RB

Well, here is the update. 3rd leaf pulled, it reduced the lift by 1 3/4", 30" was stock/sagged, 36" with full leaf pack, 34.25" with 3rd leaf removed Jeep has a much nicer rake to it now. And from the back Much happier now.

    OME CS033RB

Bolts are only hand tight at this point. There is fine print on the ARB site that states you need to remove the 3rd leaf to have 2-3" of lift. "It comes with an extra leaf factory installed". Just wish I had seen that before installing them.

    OME CS033RB

I have done a few searches now, looks like I have to pull my new rear CS033RB springs out and remove a leaf. After the amount of research I did on the OME lift for the past fours years I never once came across a thread or manual that stated a leaf would have to be removed to only lift the jeep...

    DIY inverted drill press

Was finishing up my OME lift today, went to remove the crossmember for the tcase drop and snapped off one of the bolts. I am going to attempt an easy out on it, but was not looking forward to drilling out the bolt up side down. In a rare case of genius thought, I had an idea.... An inverted...

    Lower Control Arm measurements

That frame side should have a shoe in it with two studs sticking out the back of the mount. Shims are required to sandwich between that shoe and the frame mount. To accurately determine this you need to know you castor angle.

    Xj suspension bolt list

I bought them locally in Calgary here at a company called Quest Industrial. With a tube of blue loctite, bottle of loctite clean n prep, it came to less then $75 Canadian. It probably cost less then $75 as I have a pile of leftovers, and when I wrote the original list I just added 2 washers...

WJ knuckle and calipers... can I sand blast them?

10-4 Jeep calipers are cheap, my 2 year old xj caliper just started leaking after I depressed the cylinder. Buy new, it's not expensive.

    Xj suspension bolt list

I did, but used a sawzall and cold chisel in addition to my ball peen! Ball joint press helped with re-installation.

    Xj suspension bolt list

Hi all, I'm new here, been a creeper for awhile. Thought I'd contribute something for my first post. I'm not new to jeeps, I own 3 of them, and have owned 7 in total. I am in the middle of installing and Old man emu lift on my 99 sport. I chose to replace all the control arm bushings in the...
