It's nice to have a majority of the big upgrades don't to my xj already. I get to have some fun easy victories with it now. Like cosmetics of polishing, spot removing, adhesive removing etc. Also am compiling a lost of what I plan next for the xj.

I don't have kickouts on mine, never needed them, I have slammed, ridden and flopped on these sliders more times than I can keep track of and they've held up super well, even been through a t bone accident in which the other car was deemed totalled, xj didn't even get a scratch. Rock-hard 4x4...
Yet another spontaneous trip this weekend. Was on an incredibly hard trail that I really shouldn't have been on. All panels got dented, rear stock bumper got ripped off, front bumper bent up and bent the grill / fender. Dragging diffs and on the sliders a ton. But I was the smallest rig there...
yeah, the LSMJ was cool. I recently started going to school about 500 miles from home, and it was not ideal for 7-8 hour road trips more than once a month, the XJ is much better for that.
When the white xj was a baby, I got the green jeep with some of the big parts needed for the build. Traded my LS Comanche for the green one.

I dont remember the last time I hit the rev limiter, only time it ever gets that high is if im sliding down dirt roads lol. But when it crawling its either in 4hi and under 3k or 4lo and under 1k. it has so much torque in 4;1 that it doesnt need any throttle.
Ive heard of the issues, its kind of hit and miss most of the time, but ive got some freinds over at Teraflex thatll help me out if I ever needed it. So far mine has done well. I wheel it the way it should be wheeled, and if im in 4lo then I wheel it as you should in low range...slowly.
Hey all, been into XJ's for about 5 years now. On my third XJ, and 2 MJ's. Been on comanche club for awhile, but finally decided to come onto here. I have had 97,98, and now my 99 XJ. and 87, 90 Mjs. My latest XJ is my absolute dream build. Detailed parts list below, but quick rundown: Currie...
Not really only for offroad, but Lyons Muffler in San Marcos is the go-to exhaust guru in North county. He is one of the old fashioned no BS type of guys. Ive taken two Xjs, an mj two wjs and one jku to him. He does amazing work and doest charge much, especially if your a normal.
I have the General Grabbers AT2 and they are 35x12.5x17 and these are by far the quietest and smoothest ATs I have owned. Considering I have had multiple sets of BFG Ats and MTs these are hands down the best. For the price on tirerack they couldnt be beat. Just my 2c
It was MJremi's and I had it for five months before some guy tried to pay 3 times what I payed, but it fell through cause he wanted to me to ship it before paying for it. I have not basterdized it or done anything to it that would make it worse than it is, it doesnt have original street comanche...
