Want to build an axle for my 2000 xj and I'm leaving the motor stock. So, looking for a HP d30 to replace the LP. I'm in orange county.

Yeah it's weird, just couldn't find one on ebay. Mines gray, and I need both top and bottom, but bottom more.

Yeah, I haven't checked any local yards. I'm originally from 3 hour north so I don't know where any good ones are down here. I'll check the link and start calling junkyards if I can't find anything online. It's weird, ebay has evey panel in the world except those 2 lol.

I've searched ebay and the entire www to the best of my abilities. Anyone know of a source for the rear trim, top and bottom, interior at the rear hatch? 2000xj. Mine are cracked and we'll, I don't wanna try to repair.

Can someone help me ID a plug on my drivers side front door? There are 2 blue plugs that go into the door switch. Then there is a black plug that is clipped close to the top. I have no idea where this goes? Is it a speaker wire?

looks like Dorman doesn't even make one. I ended up just ordering the motor itself

Ok, I feel like I'm fairly savvy at tracking down parts. However, every parts house in the world has every window regulator in the world, except the drivers side, rear power window regulator. Am I crazy? Anyone know where I can find one?

So, just thought I'd say hi. . Moved from Oxnard to mission viejo and figure it's time to take the old XJ out and start wheeling again. Seems like there's a pretty active 4wd driven scene down this way.

Not to threadjack, but Toe can cause DW? I only ask because my Rig has always run awesome. Ever since I swapped the stock steering out for Rock Krawlers new steering, I get Nasty DW even at 5mph. If I hit a bump, I get DW.

okay, I searched a ton, but no answers. I've got an ls1 that I want to swap into my 88 xj. I have pretty much everything figured out, well enough anyhow. But my question is how in the heck can I get it smogged in CA? I know it'll put out better emisions than the 4.0 in it now, but it won't...

well, I'm gonna pull it back apart tomorrow, I'll see what I find. The plugs are the bottom line bosch platinums, not the 4, but they're not the autolites that I pulled out that worked fine before. I'm wondering if I need to reset the computer for anything. I'll find out tomoorow

I gapped the plugs myself, and I only changed one plug at a time....So the firing order is correct.

After all the tuning I did, suddenly my 88 seems to just bne puttering out. I changed the TPS, plugs, wires, o2 sensor....and no for some reason, I'm getting crap gas mileage, have no power, and itt akes forever to start, occasionally stumbling. what's up with that?
