Accidently Bought an XJ and MJ

Did I lose everybody? Was that taboo to say? Just wanting to not go RC long arm from what I've read. TnT or BDS would be my choice they are just so expensive. Is it really worth the extra money?:helpme:

Accidently Bought an XJ and MJ

I do, but what would shipping be from Ohio? I may be able to find one here, but do you have another one of the awesome bolted horn buttons? That may be cheaper to ship. :loveu:

Accidently Bought an XJ and MJ

Does anyone know if I can get any discounts if I order 2 of the same lift kits at once? Or if through the forum if ya'll have any connections? Since I have two xj platforms, would there be any companies willing to discount/donate products for review for the right exposure?

Accidently Bought an XJ and MJ

Ya'll are awesome. Haven't been on an active forum in a while. Totally missed it. Such a wealth of information. I think I'm going to wheel the XJ, and make the MJ into a, true to jeep roots, bad ass, updated (97+) 4x4, small lift, daily driver, with a soft top camper style bed cover, that I can...

Accidently bought and XJ and MJ :)

thanks eflores, lots of food for thought. I have to have 4x4 in Steamboat for a daily driver, so I may just source the parts from a junkyard for the conversion on the MJ and trail rig the XJ.

Accidently bought and XJ and MJ :)

hahahahahaha it totally is! def going to flip that. see this is my conundrum, I've read that the MJ 4x4 conversion is straight bolt on from an XJ donor, and it'd be a cooler rig in the long run. Should i just do the 4wd on the MJ, like standard 2-3 inch lift, tires, keep it otherwise...

Accidently bought and XJ and MJ :)

My sentiment exactly on the truggy as well, great feedback! I completely agree the Peugeot is trash, I had given up on the idea of fixing it half way through my first info search. The MJ does have the 4.0, would that mate up to the AX15? As far as lifting the XJ, would ya'll still suggest a...

Accidently Bought an XJ and MJ

this is why the "possibilities" are more confusing than anything. Really I would love to keep both, mild and wild, just wondering essentially if that was the direction i went, where should i start? should i try and find the parts to make the MJ 4x4 first then go from there? or just build a lift...

Accidently Bought an XJ and MJ

completely agree with the SWB. But I was wondering how hard it would be, or rather what dimensions i would be left with if i bobbed the frame and fabricated a flat bed? without actually changing a lot...
