We have a group from Florida, N GA, and NE TN coming now that we know it's open. Planning to arrive in Harlan Wednesday July 1 and leave Sunday July 5. Unless Andy made a change in plans we've agreed an "official" Crawl isn't financially feasible for the SEC this year. So basically come wheel...

It certainly wasn't the first time and I doubt it will be the last. That particular place at that time was wrong.

It was packed. Saturday night fireworks were being set off from right in the middle of the campground and hit a jeep. Little kids were riding bikes around the campground too. Not the best time to do that with it being so crowded. No need to ask anyone...it was uncalled for plain and simple.

I was extremely proud of Calvin and his jeep. Having very little hwy time...much less in places like Atlanta...he drove 700 miles up...wheeled...and drove 700 miles home!

And we got it. Took some threads out of the bracket but it's fixed now. Just need a longer bolt to put a nut on the back side.

Have a co-worker with a 2006 LJ. We're replacing the alternator and the top bolt will back about 1/3 f the way out and then gets tighter...to the point of I will break it if I try harder. Anyone else heard of this issue? Alt bracket is aluminum and of course it's a steel bolt. We're lubed...

I may have missed a rig or 2 but adding Eddie Kemp fills up 10 spots for my group. I am willing to take more but it'll put us doing less obstacles. Now up to 10 confirmed. 1) 043500 MJ on tons and 37's locked both ends and winch 2) Calvin (my son) XJ on 32's with 5.5" of lift no lockers...

I'm hoping to 87 bases. I have buckets in my 87 MJ but the driver side is pretty ratty. If not I'll make them work somehow.

Do you know if the late model seats bolt to the earlier seat frames? I've never done the swap

I have a need for a driver side seat for an MJ or 2 door XJ. Mine is getting rough. Color is not an issue as long as it's functional and not torn. Fabric or vinyl is fine. Oh and I'm a cheap ass.

So a stock XJ can still wheel at the Crawl...:D
