    Anyone have experience with figuring out what valve springs to run with an aftermarket cam with a Later model cylinder head. Looks like there is no off the shelf high performance valve springs that will work, even with a mild/moderate camshaft selection. The ones I have seen require machine work.

    Rebuilding my 98 4.0. I sent the 0630 head out to get redone and they found 5 cracks... Cracks kills.. I have a usable 0331 head, but I know they are prone to cracking and they have there differences... Exhaust Port size, location, deck thickness, ect.. I still have the older style intake...

    Looking for a starting point here since ill be doing leaf spring shims myself and ordering them online. Suggestions on what degree shim i could start with. 3" lift with hack n tap SYE kit. Im thinking a 3-4 degree shim. I do have some vibrations with the zero pinion angle stock setup.

    its a 4.0 with the auto aw4 trans. ive owned several 4.0s, never had one idle like this. im use to there "normal" idle. Wasn't sure if this was just a positive tell tail common issue with iac. I do need to tune it up.

    98 Xj, rough idling. Smooth off of idle, but idles rough. Common issues besides normal tune-up. I was thinking IAC , didn't wanna just through money at it. Common issues with rough idling? Again, its smooth accelerating, just idling at a red light or stop sign. Im thinking this is just a tell...

    Yeah roger that, i do have a shaft shop near by, i'll do some measuring and still use a front shaft and have it shortened..

    Ive run a hack n tape SYE with 4.5" lift before using a XJ front drives shaft in the rear. Anyone done it with 3" Lift or will a stock xj front shaft be too long? and that is obviously cutting off as much remaining shaft as possible from the xfer case.

    You pay up for the revolvers, and im not sure how they could be a mall crawler thing.. its not like a big fancy bumper, or a sweet light bar to light up 1/2 of your town with. lol
