Ever since I lifted my 91 xj my shift linkage for the t-case keeps breaking or coming off and the linkage is just sloppy. So I got the linkage rebuild kit and let me tell you what a pain!! So that didn't work. Has anyone else had this problem? Or is there an aftermarket kit? Any help would be...

i fixed mine it was the TCU got it off Ebay for $45...... not the fuse since i don't have one!!! :)

trust me i have looked every where for this darn fuse everyone keeps talking about and i dont have one!

i dont see a fuse, the only one i see for the TCU is under the hood and it is good. FYI i Have a 91

ok so i had a spare AW4 laying around that came out of a good running jeep, i took the solenoids from that one and put them in mine. it still didnt fix the issue, i am thinking that its the TCU. Problem is still that if i put it in drive it hardly moves but if i put it in 1/2 it moves like...

i checked the fluid good color and level, i have chacked the fuse for the tcu and it is good the tps was just replaced. i will check the tcu
