i have an 8.8 axle i was told is limited slip but after further inspection i noticed there is no clutch plates/disks/packs whatever you wanna call them anywhere behind any spider gears so i am thinking that this is an open diff 8.8 which i am actually hoping, can anyone give me more insight on...
I believe i have an open carrier 8.8 there are no clutch plates behind the spider gears so im guessing its an open carrier correct?? I had a bronco with an 8.8 and clearly remember the clutch plates cause it was limited slip. Id like to get an aussie for my rear as i like the one in my front axle

It sounds like you guys are suggesting Ikeep the db's so now do you think its worth upgrading to the tubular adjustable arms or should I just keep my stock ones for now? I do plan on adding an inch spacer to the front and 1.5 shackles to the back in the future cause id like to run 33s
