No batteries, that was my attempt at sarcasm. You just dont need wires running to the cab or a switch, fuses etc. They run off a wireless relay. Its a little "keyless entry" type switch. You can mount anywhere. You can also wire them conventionally if you wanted. Guessin nobodies running these yet

About $20 bucks, but no wires thru the dash....and you get a really cool fob remote and decoder ring.

Yup, thats exactly what I'm asking. Couldnt find where the "AA" batteries go, so figured I'd wire them in. I'm kind of innovative like that.

My cousin has one, they are a nice little buggy, hes used trooper and rodeo parts fixing his...which wasnt alot. Its got over 225k on it and still takes it camping etc. Be a nice and different buggy for your daughter. They are reliable, Ive been around his alot
