Finally got off my butt and got alittle more done. New front cross member fabbed up. Need to fab up the frame end hangers, some shackles and mount the springs to the axle.
I'm in Ohio currently. What are land values like in that area? I imagine I'll be stuck in an appartment for awhile. The laid back part sounds good. I'm not much of a big city type. Being 24 I've never really done this sorta thing before, just trying to get as much info as I can before hand....
Looking at a possible job transfer there. Just looking for some info. So far I've read the smog sucks, cost of living is 25%-30% higher and some of the neighboring towns arent the greatest. So are there any good points?
EBay bender link.
Includes 4 dies and its air/hydro. Looks like you can use it anywhere there's a hard level surface which is nice. Anyone see any potential problems with it?
A guy at work keeps ramblin on how he's going to take a 6 cylinder JD turbo diesel, put an auto Allison from a school bus behind it, and slap it all in his full size chevy. Mainly just wanted to see what he was talking about.
Grill's done! I need a lighter color spray paint, black looks like hell. The red pieces are what I ended up cutting out. I'll start on the hood tomorrow.
Well, here's what I got done tonight. Cut about 11" out of the upper portion and a section of the grill off either side. Need to glass in the grill supports and some mounting tabs and bondo the crack up!
