I'll be at slick rock as well this weekend, do u have a cb, and if so we will be on channel 4 so we can meet up, we might just camp at duck creek, some friends from rccrawler are having a scale crawler event, but they are all camping at staging area.

Slick rock has definitely gotten a little more difficult since last year, lots of big holders on the trail, unless someone has winched them out of the way, and the ladder is all dug out between the boulders.

Yeah, our Club is meeting in Sonora early sat morning and heading to dv. We will only have probly bout 5-6 rigs I'm guessing.

Were just doing an overnighter.camping at river crossing.

Yeah there is a lot of rigs from all over ca. I think like 150 ppl at last years event. I dunno if they use the campsites that are on the trail between lions butt and the rock pile too. I can try to find out, I have some friends in that club.

Oh, forgot to mention, there will be tons of ppl there that weekend for the club mud sweat and gears yearly kids on the rocks gathering/trail run. So u might want to get up there as early as u can, I think they reserve the whole campground or something like that.

Just went up this last sat, only bout 40 mins from my house. We were the only ones on the trail other than a few quads. I might join u guys, I think I have to be in a local parade that day with our local club but I'll have to double check.

Yeah that was friday, I think I turned in front of you. I was waiting for some other guys from the local club. I should have checked this forum before I went, we could have met up.
