If it's a humming coming from the front end and it increases with speed it's probably your wheel bearings. I had the same problem back in Feb.
I picked up two new hub assemblies from Autozone for $90 a piece and 2 hours later problem solved!

Rubicon Express (RE 1467) 4* axle shims
Here is a link to Rubicon Express
Brand new, still in package.
$20 plus shipping or will trade for 1.75" poly coil spacers
I need the axle end track bar nut/bracket. I don't need the bolt, just that nut thats tack welded into the L shaped bracket that goes on the rear of the axle. The bolt threads into it.
Thanks!
You will definitely need them, the question is what size shim? Are you going to be running a 4.5" spring with longer shackles? If so 4* shims should do. If you are going to be running a 5.5" rear spring with stock shackles then a 6* shim should do. I actually got exactly 5" of lift in the...

Actually it's 96+... that's when DC decided to go with the longer output shaft and slip yoke. Most people think it was 97 because that's when they changed the body and interior.
I know because I drive a 96 and did the sye thing!;)

Actually if you buy Rusty's HD trac bar frame mount it comes with the new end to work with the bracket. I called him about this last week and he assured me that in order to upgrade the standard trac bar all you had to purchase was the new bracket for $89.
