    hack and tap helper?

Just saw this tool that's for cutting bicycle forks and wondered if it could be employed to cut a transfer case output shaft. Don't know how thick the output shaft is though. This goes between 1" and 1 1/4"...

getting ready to put on my Rustys lift

whatever man. this guy just bought a kit and wanted suggestions on the install. Bottom line. Then people talk trash. That's not why I come to this site. Nobody tells me what to buy with my money. I'm here for the tech. That's it.

getting ready to put on my Rustys lift

why is it that everytime somebody talks about their new rusty's kit... people gotta shovel crap on them. I like my rusty's stuff and haven't really heard all that much about his stuff breaking. I guess it makes you feel good though right? Holier than thou. Good luck with your install and...

    no slip is slipping?

Ok got the part. I had to get the slotted spacer since they were backorderd on the non slotted. They told me at Richmond Gear that the slotted one was the same other than the slot and would work. Part was $35 and shipping was $12 but it came in 4 days so oh well. I had to buy from a dealer...

    Wobble after bump?

I have to concede defeat here. Never thought about it like that. Jeep couldn't make a suspension that would freak out if a tire lost a weight. Hmmm so my DW is gone but I must have something worn. Well I'm sure it'll be back to haunt me some day then. Strange though how it never tries to do...

    Wobble after bump?

I'm sure you are a DW expert then but I think you're way off in not listing tire balance. I'm sure there's many others also. Just four? Nope

    Wobble after bump?

So why would that mean that his problem isn't tires? I'm confused. I switched from 235's to 31's (TRXUS). I only had wobble when hitting bumps and new tires fixed it so I don't know how you can say that his problem which is the same as mine is definately not tires?

    Track Bar Bolt Waller

Thanks. I remember that I had to put maybe two washers before the nut so I could get the wrench on it tight. Otherwise it was behind the bracket too far.

    Did I do something wrong?

It would have been fine if you'd added Pro Long to your oil first. Wait a minute, if you have Pro Long you don't need oil. Oh well

    Track Bar Bolt Waller

I used a one size larger SAE bolt with a nut on the back in mine (Rusty's HD) and it fit nice and tight. Way better than the stocker. I can't for the life of me remember the size but with the right length you can easily get a nut on the back.

    Wobble after bump?

I'd definately get a really good tire balance. I had the exact symptoms you're having and it was ALL tires. I thought it had to be something else since it happened only when hitting bumps but when I got new tires it totally stopped. I had it alligned twice before getting them and just wasted...

    F$%^ rustys

I know of alot of companies that would've made you send that incorrect part back before they even talked about sending out another. He made a mistake and he's taking care of it. You sound like a real jerkoff to me. When you modify a truck and go offroad things are gonna go wrong. He could've...

    F$%^ rustys

Your mount is probably pinched due to torqueing the old end into it. I assume you had to wiggle the old one out. Quit crying and spread it a 32nd of an inch. Man I had to jam mine in when it was new. Tight is good when it comes to a trac bar. Sounds like he's helping you out. A 12 day...
