    How would I fix this?

I found a wonderful addition to the jeep the other day. If it were anywhere but the leaf spring hanger I wouldn't worry about it. But with the twisting forces appied to the area when on the rocks, I don't think it will last very long. I have some fab tools that includes a welder (although...

    Coolant temp gauge doesn't work

Does anyone know what the resistance should be on the coolant temp gauge sending unit at normal engine temp? I measured it at 100 Ohms. I also took the wire off the sending unit and placed it to ground, and the gauge didn't peg out at hot. So I'm thinking the gauge is bad. Do you think my...

    Attention car audio experts

I'm planning on putting a 10" sub in my '01 dodge ext. cab. I've found a place that makes some custom sealed enclosures that fit under the rear seat. My question is, does it make a difference in the sound if the sub is firing down or forward? This company has a single forward firing box, and...

    Anyone have any ideas on....

how to thaw out some washer fluid lines? My dodge won't spray washer fluid on the front windshield. I checked the washer fluid, it was low but looked like it was a little slushy. I got some new fluid that has a freezing point of -20*F to dilute the cheap autozone stuff I had in there, hoping...

    Need help finding a ground.

I am looking for the ground that goes to the turnsignals, and dash gauges. I'm pretty sure I have a high resistance somewhere that is causing all my gauges to not read correctly, and my turnsignals are dim and slow? If anyone knows much about this it would be a great help.

    Offset leafspring perch

When I did my rear 9" swap, I bought a set of leaf spring perches from MORE. The perches had 3 holes for the center pins, one in the center and the other two were an inch forward and an inch back. Is it a good idea to move the rear axle back an inch by mounting the center pin in the forward...

    sleeving frame rail???

I pulled off my steering box last night to swap it out with a durango box. I figured while I was there I might as well make new spacer plate that would also sleeve the frame rail (similar to c-rock). After I got everything off, I noticed that the frame was already sleeved from the factory. My...

    Weld-on threaded bungs

Are they a good idea or not? Specifically, I'm looking into getting a 1.25" -12 TPI UNF threaded bung for my custom radius arms I'm making. I'm going to weld a threaded stud to the RE flex joint at crossmember, and thread it into the arm so I have some adjustability. Just wondering what...
